Nature’s camouflage

Lions have evolved to have a coat color that matches the surrounding environment, providing them with a form of camouflage known as disruptive coloration. The combination of their sandy, golden fur and black-tipped tails helps break up their body outline and makes them less noticeable amidst the grassy landscape.
