Spotted wonders

When lion cubs are born, they have a coat covered in spots or rosettes, which gradually fade as they grow older. These spots are similar to those seen on other big cat species like leopards. The spots serve as camouflage, helping to conceal the cubs in their natural habitat during their early vulnerable stages.
